Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
- Expertise in IDOCs/DATEX configuration and customization
- Experience and understanding of the Switch Documents and Process Documents objects in SAP ISU.
- Analyze business requirements and provide functional/technical solutions in SAP IS-U IDEX.
- Configure and support market communication processes for deregulated utility markets.
- Work on inbound and outbound market messages using IDOCs, XML, and DATEX.
- Support integration between SAP IS-U, SAP EDM, and external utility systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for IDEX-related issues and interfaces.
- Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT support.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation for developments and enhancements.
- Support production issues, incident management, and change requests.
- Experience in enhancement frameworks, user exits, BADIs, and custom ABAP developments related to IS-U.
- Understanding of utility retail deregulation and supplier switching processes.
- Knowledge of smart meter integration and meter data communication processes.
