As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern development frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous enhancement of software functionalities are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that solutions remain aligned with evolving project goals and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- a graduate degree in IT Software Engineering
- 6+ years development experience in Java 17 or above, Spring Boot and Microservices
- Strong background in design and implementation of external services integrations (REST)
- Experience working on Azure cloud environment and cloud migration strategies
- Experience in working with Ansible, Postgres SQL
a strong understanding & experience with design principles and interface guidelines
- a positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking within a team that delivers data to a mobile app
- knowledge of Version Control System (Git)
- Good to have experience in React, Typescript
- a good team player and mentor a group of junior engineers
- a strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
