As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project stakeholders, coordinating efforts to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous collaboration with various teams to drive project success and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance team productivity and software quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP MM Materials Management.
- Experience in working in integration with 3PL.
- Experience in handling Mapping for 3PL(IDOC to IDOC,or IDOC to XML for ex)
- Experience in IDOC enviornment (IDOC config/Testing) connected to ERP/S/4.
- Experience in general in IM Logistics.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SAP MM functionalities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
