Project Role : Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Must have skills : Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions

Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing software components tailored to meet those needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple parts of application software, ensuring that each element functions seamlessly within the overall system. Additionally, the position requires ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing software to improve performance and address any issues. Collaboration with different teams and adapting to evolving project demands are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering continuous development and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
  • Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.
  • Experience with embedded software development and integration within automotive systems.
  • Strong understanding of software lifecycle processes including design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems and automotive communication protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance practices and tools.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions.
  • This position is based at our Pune office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
