As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, translating them into functional software solutions, and ensuring that the applications align with organizational goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and continuous improvement of the software to enhance performance and usability are integral parts of your daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of applications through thorough testing and validation.
- Maintain documentation related to application design, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting in problem-solving activities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mendix (Platform).
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in configuring and customizing applications to meet diverse business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently within the Mendix environment.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs to connect applications with other systems.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
