As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure specialized applications tailored to project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for project stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. The position demands overseeing the progress of application development, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and continuously refining solutions to meet evolving needs. Collaboration with various teams to align technical efforts with project goals is a key aspect, alongside managing timelines and delivering high-quality software components.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor project milestones and adjust plans to address challenges proactively.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP modules related to utilities billing processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Ability to document technical specifications and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
• This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
