Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications meet the needs of users. You will also engage in troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications, while providing guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development of best practices and standards for application design and configuration. - Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support in their professional development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Absence Management. - Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies. - Experience with configuration and customization of Workday applications. - Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Familiarity with integration processes and tools related to Workday.
