Project Role : Custom Software Engineer
Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
Must have skills : Solution Architecture
Good to have skills : Data Engineering, DevOps Architecture, Java Full Stack Development
Minimum 7.5 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Role Summary:
Lead the architecture of OCAS. Own both data architecture and solution architecture, covering data ingestion, transformation, anonymization, integrations, and output delivery.
Act as the technical authority, translating business requirements into scalable solutions while balancing long-term architecture goals with project delivery needs.
Key Skills:
Data anonymization, privacy-by-design, and clinical trial data concepts
Python, R, Apache Airflow, Kafka, REST/gRPC integrations
Data formats: CSV, Parquet, SAS, RDS
AWS (EKS, S3, IAM, DocumentDB)
Solution/Data Architecture, ADRs, governance, and documentation
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Define and govern platform architecture
Drive architecture decisions and maintain documentation
Ensure privacy and data protection requirements are embedded in solutions
Collaborate with engineering, business, and testing teams to deliver scalable, reusable solutions.
