As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications meet the required specifications and function seamlessly within the broader system environment. The engineer actively oversees the progress of the project, addresses challenges as they arise, and ensures timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and application performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development.
- Strong expertise in database design and data modeling techniques specific to SAP HANA environments.
- Experience in optimizing SQL queries and managing large datasets for performance and scalability.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application development and data integration.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and best practices in application configuration.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development.
- This position is based at our HDC3C - SEZ location.
