Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled Mainframe Developers with 5 8 years of strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, and DB2 to support and enhance enterprise Mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently on development, maintenance, production support, and performance optimization of batch and online systems. Experience in the Healthcare domain (Claims, Enrollment, Provider, Eligibility, HIPAA, EDI) is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Maintenance

Design, develop, modify, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL (Batch / Online).

Write and optimize JCL for batch scheduling, dataset management, backups, and recovery.

Develop and tune DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and batch programs for performance and scalability.

Perform impact analysis and implement enhancements based on business requirements.

Defect Fixes & Troubleshooting

Analyze and resolve production issues including ABENDs, data mismatches, performance bottlenecks, and job failures.

Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.

Monitor batch cycles and ensure SLA adherence, 15 years full time education
