Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components across various systems or applications, and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will also participate in discussions to address challenges and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Write, debug, and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data integration, migration, and transformation across multiple platforms.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance tuning in ETL processes.
• Support production systems by monitoring jobs, troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and processes for knowledge sharing.
• Work with AWS services (S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, etc.) for data storage and integration (good-to-have).
• Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts for automation, scheduling, and job control.
• Utilize Python for data processing, automation, and integration with ETL workflows
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Exposure to AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools (Git).
• Experience with data quality frameworks and performance tuning techniques.
• We are seeking a skilled Informatica Developer with around 3 years of professional experience to join our data engineering team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, ensuring seamless data integration across systems.
• This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SQL development and optimization, with exposure to AWS cloud services considered a plus.
• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of database management systems and SQL.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
