Summary

Are you a Tech Lead looking to drive the technical direction of market leading (#1) software products. Join us to help develop our Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate has full-stack expertise in development, design, testing, and operations, with experience in scalable Cloud Native SaaS solutions. Platform experience is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Development: Design, code (hands-on), and maintain (proactive monitoring, troubleshooting) software solutions using object-oriented or modern languages (Java, Go etc.)

Test: Create test scenarios and design, develop, and execute corresponding automated tests.

Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure or GCP. A comfort level with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm etc.)

Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior engineers, guide technical design and architecture discussions, and establish best practices. Identify design pattern needs.

Collaboration: Excel in global cross-functional teams, including product management and architecture.

Code Reviews: Utilize code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and maintainability, as well as mentoring opportunities.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technology. Create a culture for team to learn from past mistakes and blameless Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Educational Qualifications:

Education: Master s degree (preferred) or bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 10+ years in software development and testing, with at least 3 years in Cloud Native SaaS applications and preferably 2-3 years mentoring and coaching engineers in a leadership role.

Technical skills:

REST API, OpenAPI and database technologies (RDBMS and/or NoSQL).

Experience with microservices architecture, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with event driven architecture (e.g., Pulsar, SNS/SQS), CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Develop test automation suites leveraging API test automation (request library/component parameterization) and UI (Cypress, Selenium or similar).

Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g. React, Angular) is a plus.

Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.

Lead technical initiatives like tech migration or system performance and security improvements with an Agile mindset. Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex tech challenges.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills across time zones.
