Summary

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures that the applications are aligned with the overall project goals and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead the planning and execution of application design and development activities to meet project objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Information Lifecycle management ILM.
  • Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management and software configuration techniques.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues within enterprise environments.
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with integration of software components and third-party tools to enhance application functionality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Information Lifecycle management ILM.
  • This position is based at our Gurugram office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
