Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the development lifecycle. The position demands proactive problem-solving and coordination with various teams to deliver tailored software solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software solutions.
  • Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical tasks.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve application performance and user experience.
  • Document design decisions, configurations, and development processes to maintain knowledge sharing within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
  • Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within IT operations management tools.
  • Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs related to ServiceNow platform.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
  • This position is based at our Gurugram office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
