Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison between various stakeholders. The position demands coordinating efforts across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges that arise during the software development lifecycle. The role also includes fostering collaboration and maintaining clear communication to align project goals with business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables.
• Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to optimize team productivity.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Quality Management (QM).
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP HANA DB Administration.
• Strong understanding of SAP Quality Management processes and integration points.
• Ability to configure and customize SAP QM modules to meet business requirements.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within SAP QM environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies in SAP projects.
