Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. The engineer actively participates in refining application features and adapting configurations to optimize performance and user experience throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through technical challenges.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely delivery.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Advanced SAP ABAP Development for HANA CDS, Odata , IDOC , exits or enhancements, etc . Good 5+ years of hand on exp in these area.
• Strong experience in developing and customizing SAP applications using ABAP on the HANA platform.
• Ability to optimize code and database interactions to leverage HANA s in-memory computing capabilities.
• Familiarity with SAP modules integration and understanding of business processes to deliver effective solutions.
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex SAP ABAP programs.
• Capability to work with various development tools and environments related to SAP ABAP and HANA.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
