Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:
Manage SAP ABAP Cloud engineering and AMS recovery workstreams, stabilize service delivery, and improve quality, automation and operational governance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage diagnostics covering incidents, recurring defects, interfaces, jobs, transports, performance, monitoring and service risks.
Maintain RAG assessments, root-cause records, risks, actions and a measurable stabilisation backlog.
Lead remediation using RAP, CDS, released APIs, clean core, automated testing and controlled release practices.
Coordinate client, functional, basis, integration, security, testing and SI teams to resolve dependencies.
Assure vendor fixes, estimates, test evidence, documentation, handover quality and service obligations.
Apply SAP Generative AI and Joule for Developers to accelerate defect analysis, code understanding, unit testing, optimization, knowledge creation and custom code remediation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: SAP ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, ADT, ABAP Unit, released APIs, clean core and SAP S/4HANA extensibility.
Good to have Skills: SAP BTP, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud ALM, ATC, custom code migration and CI/CD.
Experience with SAP Generative AI capabilities, including SAP Business AI, SAP Generative AI Hub, prompt engineering, grounding, model orchestration and responsible integration into SAP solutions.
Knowledge of Joule for Developers, including code understanding, predictive code completion, ABAP Unit test generation, dependency analysis, code optimization, CDS support and custom code migration assistance.
Knowledge of secure development, performance engineering, automated testing, transport and release management, code quality and DevOps practices.
Demonstrated experience in distressed programme diagnostics, stabilisation, turnaround planning, remediation governance and recovery execution, with evidence of improving delivery confidence or reducing go-live risk.
AI and Digital Expectations:
Use SAP Generative AI, Joule for Developers and other approved AI tools to analyse programme evidence, code, tests, delivery data and knowledge assets identify risks, dependencies, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
Use SAP Generative AI Hub patterns such as prompt templates, grounding, orchestration and model evaluation where relevant to SAP solution delivery.
Apply human validation, confidentiality, security, bias awareness, traceability and compliance with client and organizational policies to all AI-assisted outputs.
Leadership and Stakeholder Competencies:
Communicate evidence-based technical findings clearly, facilitate accountable decisions and collaborate effectively across client, SI and multidisciplinary teams.
Coach team members, take ownership of outcomes and escalate material risks with clear evidence.
Desirable Experience:
Relevant SAP certifications in ABAP Cloud, SAP S/4HANA development, SAP BTP, SAP Business AI or related technologies.
Exposure to programme assurance, quality audits, commercial controls and multi-vendor systems-integration delivery.
Additional Information:
Typically 10-14 years of relevant enterprise application and SAP delivery experience.
A 15 years full-time education is required.
