Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Optimizely Developer with strong expertise in both Optimizely CMS and Optimizely Commerce (Configured Commerce / Spire / Commerce Connect). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable digital experiences and e-commerce solutions on the Optimizely platform, working closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and QA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Optimizely CMS (formerly Episerver) and Optimizely Commerce.
• Build and customize content blocks, page types, templates, and content models within Optimizely CMS.
• Develop and extend commerce features including catalog management, pricing, promotions, cart, and checkout workflows.
• Integrate Optimizely with third-party systems (ERP, CRM, payment gateways, search engines like Elasticsearch/Solr, and marketing tools).
• Optimize site performance, scalability, and SEO for both content and commerce pages.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive, pixel-perfect front-end designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices (C#, .NET, MVC/Razor).
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to CMS and commerce functionality.
• Stay updated with new Optimizely releases, features, and best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS and Optimizely Commerce (or Episerver equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and Razor views.
• Experience with Optimizely Content Delivery API / Content Management API.
• Solid understanding of Optimizely Commerce architecture — catalog, order, pricing, and promotion systems.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks (React/Angular is a plus).
• Experience with SQL Server and writing optimized queries.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC.
• Optimizely Certified Developer (CMS/Commerce).
• Experience with Optimizely DXP (Digital Experience Platform) and cloud deployments.
• Experience with Teamcity and Octopus deployment.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
