Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects and serving as the main liaison for all related activities. The position demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effectively tailored to meet project requirements, while continuously overseeing progress and addressing any challenges that arise throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
• Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders.
• Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills.
• Continuously monitor application performance and implement improvements to optimize functionality.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Connectivity 2.0, Murex Back Office Workflows.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Back Office Workflows.
• Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to connectivity and integration.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices for custom application engineering.
• Experience in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
