Summary:

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and supporting cloud-based deployments on Microsoft Azure. The role requires close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable delivery processes. The engineer is responsible for troubleshooting deployment and infrastructure issues, optimizing cloud resources, and implementing DevOps best practices to improve operational efficiency and application reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployment pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application performance.
• Implement security best practices including RBAC, Service Principals, Key Vault, and DevSecOps controls.
• Support multiple environments (Development, QA, UAT, and Production) and ensure smooth release management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git Repositories, and CI/CD Pipelines (YAML).
• Strong experience with Terraform/IaC for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Good knowledge of Azure Services, including Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Azure Functions, and related services.
• Scripting expertise in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Security, RBAC, Service Principals, Key Vault, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for deployment, infrastructure, and pipeline issues across multiple environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) processes and hands-on Production Support experience.
  
  

Nice To Have Skills:

Experience with SonarQube, GitHub Actions, and FinOps practices.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Azure DevOps Engineering.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
