Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support organizational goals. You will also participate in testing and troubleshooting to enhance application performance and user experience, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and optimization in the software development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Mentor junior professionals to foster their growth and development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Absence Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud Absence/Leave Management.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and methodologies.
- Experience in configuring and customizing applications to meet user needs.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
