Job Description: Node.js Full-Stack Developer

Role: Full-Stack Developer — Node.js & GraphQL Federation

Level: Mid / Senior

About The Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with strong Node.js expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work across the entire stack — from backend APIs and GraphQL federation services to frontend UIs — with awareness of DevOps practices to own your services end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js

Build and maintain GraphQL Federated Subgraphs and integrate with a federated supergraph

Develop responsive frontend interfaces using React / Vue / Angular

Basic understanding of Infra/DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployments

Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

Optimize application performance and ensure scalability

Professional and Technical Skills:

Backend

Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express.js / Fastify / NestJS)

GraphQL — schema design, resolvers, mutations, subscriptions

GraphQL Federation (Apollo/Cosmo Federation v1/v2 — subgraph/supergraph architecture)

REST API design and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation

Database experience: PostgreSQL / DynamoDB /MongoDB

Redis cache

Authentication — JWT, OAuth2, OpenID Connect

Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Frontend

Proficiency in React (or Vue/Angular)

State management (Redux / Zustand / Pinia)

Javascript. TypeScript

Module Federation / Micro-Frontend architecture (nice to have)

Responsive design, HTML5, CSS3

DevOps (Working Knowledge)

Docker — writing Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds

Basic Kubernetes — deployments, services, configmaps

CI/CD pipelines — GitHub Actions / GitLab CI

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)

Environment configuration management (secrets, env vars)

Good to Have:

Experience with Cosmo Router

SEO : Search Engine Optimization

Knowledge of WebSockets or Server-Sent Events

AWS services — ECS, EKS, Gateway, Networking

Helm charts and Kubernetes manifest management

OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing

Other Additional skills:

3–6 years of software development experience

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
