Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires acting as the main liaison for project activities, coordinating efforts to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables, while overseeing the technical aspects of application development to meet organizational needs effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical team members to enhance collaboration.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR.
- Good To Have Skills: Program Project Management, Workday Project Management (PM).
- Strong knowledge of human capital management systems and their integration.
- Experience in configuring and customizing enterprise resource planning applications.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
