Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes with a strong focus on Outbound Delivery, Picking Packing, Goods Issue (PGI), and RF-based warehouse execution.You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs.
• Strong understanding of logistics and shipment execution processes.
• Experience working with business users in manufacturing / distribution environments.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Support Unit Testing (UT), SIT, and UAT cycles.
• Strong experience in writing FS / FD documents/ Test cases.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with database management and data integration techniques.

• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
