As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand client requirements and system behavior. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client needs, writing and testing code to ensure functionality and reliability, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve application performance. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a regular part of the day to ensure alignment and address any challenges that arise during development and deployment phases.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify requirements for application development.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear records of development activities.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding project tasks.
- Continuously monitor application performance and suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM Security, Workday Core HCM, Workday Accounting Center.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core HCM, Workday Accounting Center.
- Strong knowledge of security configurations and access controls within Workday HCM environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues effectively.
- Experience in designing and implementing security roles, domains, and policies.
- Familiarity with Workday integration processes and security implications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday HCM Security.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
