Job Description

Project Role : Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Must have skills : ServiceNow IT Service Management

Good to have skills : NA

Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow platform

Customize modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSM, etc.

Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations

Build and configure Service Catalog items and workflows

Implement REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems

Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and defects

Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and estimation

Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and governance

Support platform upgrades and patching activities

Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
  • Maintain and update existing software components to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Document development processes and code changes to ensure clarity and maintainability.
  • Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Experience in customizing and configuring ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within ServiceNow environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and integration techniques relevant to ServiceNow.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required., 15 years full time education
