Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving discussions, ensuring that the software solutions meet the evolving demands of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and performance.
Design, configure, and develop Genesys Cloud CX voice applications, including Architect call flows, IVRs, and voice bots.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and develop Genesys Cloud CX voice applications, including Architect call flows, IVRs, and voice bots.
- Build and optimize Outbound Dialer strategies, campaigns, schedules, wrap-ups, retries, and rule sets.
- Develop voice bot flows with call deflection, NLP integration, DTMF handling, and callback orchestration.
- Build and maintain integration with third-party systems via REST APIs using Genesys Data Actions.
- Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, enabling reliable and repeatable deployments.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for flow deployments, data actions, configurations, and code promotion.
- Utilize VS Code, Git, and version control best practices to manage Genesys Cloud resources and custom logic.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, testers, architects, and support teams to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Implement best practices in coding and software design to ensure maintainability and scalability.
