Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, managing timelines and delivering solutions that align with business needs. Collaboration with team members and continuous monitoring of progress are key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring smooth execution from concept to deployment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions by managing tasks effectively.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and configuring workflows, forms, and business rules within ServiceNow.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications.
  • Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs to connect ServiceNow with other systems.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
