As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the software solutions align with organizational goals. Your role includes continuous refinement of applications to enhance performance and usability, while adapting to evolving business demands. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development lifecycle by translating complex requirements into functional software components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal operation within the business environment.

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues to maintain application stability.
• Document design specifications and application configurations for future reference.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Amdocs CRM, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
• Strong understanding of scripting techniques to automate and streamline processes.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code in Unix Shell environments.
• Experience in debugging and optimizing shell scripts for performance improvements.
• Familiarity with integrating shell scripts with other software components and tools.
