We are seeking an experienced Senior / Lead Custom Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AI/ML technologies. This role involves leading complex customer engagements, architecting enterprise-scale cloud and AI solutions, and driving successful adoption of multi-cloud and AI platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with excellent customer-facing and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end customer engagements from solution discovery to production deployment
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for senior customer stakeholders and CXOs
- Drive technical decision-making and provide architectural guidance
Cloud Architecture (Azure & GCP)
- Architect and implement large-scale, secure, and highly available solutions on Azure and GCP
- Design multi-cloud and hybrid architectures
- Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives
- Define cloud governance, security, and cost-optimization strategies
AI, Data & GenAI Solutions
- Design and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, including:
- Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Azure ML
- Google Vertex AI, Gemini models, BigQuery ML
- Guide customers on LLM adoption, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and AI governance
- Oversee data pipelines, MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
DevOps, Automation & Security
- Lead DevOps and MLOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, and Terraform
- Drive Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD best practices
- Ensure enterprise-grade security, compliance, IAM, and data privacy
Team Mentorship & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and solution teams
- Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to drive customer success
- Review technical designs and ensure adherence to best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- 815 years of experience in cloud engineering, solution architecture, or customer engineering
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong expertise in AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
- Proficiency in Python, APIs, and cloud-native development
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics, and MLOps
Leadership & Communication
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles
- Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders
- Strong presentation, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert / GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification
- Experience with LLMs, OpenAI, Gemini, LangChain, or similar frameworks
