We are looking for a Custom Documentation Specialist (SME) to bring deep expertise in domain-specific documentation, create structured knowledge assets, and support solution alignment across Scry AI's offerings. This role is critical in ensuring that complex business processes and workflows are accurately captured, documented, and translated into scalable systems.

Role Overview

As a Custom Documentation Specialist (SME) at Scry AI, you will act as a domain expert responsible for creating, structuring, and validating documentation tailored to specific industries and client use cases. You will work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to ensure documentation reflects real-world workflows and supports implementation and adoption.

This role is ideal for someone with strong documentation expertise who can bridge domain knowledge with technology in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Domain Documentation & Knowledge Capture

  • Create detailed documentation of business processes, workflows, and domain-specific requirements
  • Translate complex operational procedures into structured, clear documentation
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of domain knowledge assets

Solution Alignment & Product Support

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align documentation with system workflows
  • Provide inputs for automation logic, validation rules, and structured data models
  • Ensure documentation supports implementation and system usability

Customization & Client-Specific Documentation

  • Develop tailored documentation based on client requirements and industry needs
  • Capture edge cases, exceptions, and variations in workflows
  • Support onboarding and implementation with relevant documentation

Quality, Governance & Standardization

  • Establish documentation standards, templates, and best practices
  • Ensure consistency, version control, and audit readiness
  • Continuously improve documentation frameworks and processes

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and delivery
  • Support internal enablement by creating knowledge repositories
  • Provide guidance on documentation practices and domain clarity

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong experience in technical or process documentation roles
  • Ability to understand and document complex workflows and systems
  • Excellent writing, structuring, and analytical skills
  • Experience working with domain-specific or enterprise documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams
