Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and operational support of internally developed applications supporting platform teams and business services
- Maintain and enhance custom applications built using Python, Node.js, SQL, and web frameworks
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and related data platforms
- Support integration between custom applications and enterprise platforms, cloud services, and DevOps tooling
- Ensure reliability, operational stability, and performance of internally developed applications
- Provide technical leadership and guide development practices within the custom application team
- Support troubleshooting and incident response for application issues
- Collaborate with service owners and business stakeholders to prioritize fixes, enhancements, and improvements
- Maintain documentation, development guidance, and operational runbooks
- Ensure secure development practices and adherence to enterprise technology standards
- Manage application updates and enhancements through controlled change and release processes
- Collaborate effectively with platform engineering teams, business stakeholders, and suppliers in a multi-supplier operating model
Skills Required:
- Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, and SQL development
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices and tooling (optional but preferred)
- Ability to develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI
- Proven experience in application integration with enterprise platforms
- Leadership skills to guide development teams and enforce best practices
- Troubleshooting and incident response for custom applications
- Understanding of secure development practices and enterprise technology standards
- Ability to manage application lifecycle including updates, fixes, and enhancements
Education: Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field
