Job Description

Summary Description

The Curriculum QA Tester provides testing of K-12 curriculum for Imagine Learning products, reporting defects and assisting with other curriculum development functions as needed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs accessibility & manual testing of digital and print products according to provided documentation and checklists for content accuracy and adherence to style guidelines
  • Ensures the appropriate level of quality by efficiently reporting defects according to department and product guidelines
  • Communicates quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team; shares test plans/test coverage outlines for gap analysis
  • Monitors defect reports and follows them to resolution
  • Conducts system testing, including but not limited to black box testing as required for functional and regression testing on various platforms, hardware, and APIs
  • Collaborates with product teams to develop and implement testing plans and comprehensive test cases for validating front-end and back-end functionality
  • Completes publishing activities, ensuring product specifications and agreed-upon processes are followed
  • Collaborates with internal and external teams, including third-party vendors, to resolve issues
  • Supports and contributes to meeting QA deliverables within projects, ensuring alignment with department and company goals
  • When required, acts as a subject matter expert for content development projects
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Education, Curriculum, or subject matter field or technical field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience

Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of teaching experience or educational publishing experience strongly preferred.

  • English language proficiency C1 or better

  • Strong interest and ability to learn new technology and applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
