Position Overview
Bhartiya Jain Sanghatna seeks a skilled Curriculum Designer to translate our employee training and development needs into engaging educational courses.
Curriculum Designer responsibilities include selecting appropriate instructional methods, defining time frames and preparing training materials in physical and digital formats. If you have experience structuring educational programs and are familiar with both classroom-style and web-based courses, we'd like to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Design
- Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to define curriculum goals, objectives, and learning outcomes
- Design and develop comprehensive curriculum frameworks, instructional units, lesson plans, and assessment tools aligned with standards and best practices
Research & Content Development
- Research educational trends, learning theories, and instructional methodologies to enhance curriculum design
- Identify, evaluate, and develop appropriate learning resources, including textbooks, digital tools, and multimedia content
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and subject matter experts to incorporate feedback
- Ensure curriculum design meets the needs of diverse learners and learning environments
Implementation & Evaluation
- Implement curriculum and evaluate its effectiveness using formative and summative assessments
- Analyze data and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve curriculum outcomes
Training & Capacity Building
- Conduct training sessions and professional development programs for educators
- Provide guidance on curriculum implementation and effective instructional strategies
Technology Integration
- Stay updated with advancements in educational technology
- Integrate innovative tools and digital resources into curriculum design and delivery
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of curriculum development processes
- Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders as required
Education and Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of educational theories, learning principles, and instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
- Excellent research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into effective curriculum improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Proficiency in educational technologies and tools used for curriculum design and delivery
- Creative problem-solving approach with the ability to design for diverse learner needs
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices
- Familiarity with data protection and privacy regulations will be considered an advantage
Remuneration: Based on candidate's current CTC and experience.
Type of employment: Permanent (Work from office).
