Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for Current Account Acquisition at CSB Bank. The role involves sourcing new current account customers through direct outreach, referrals, and local market development. Daily responsibilities include meeting prospective clients, understanding their business requirements, explaining current account features and benefits, and supporting customers through account opening and documentation. The position also requires close coordination with branch teams, maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Ongoing tasks include relationship-building with newly acquired customers, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and achieving defined acquisition and revenue targets.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess customer profiles, evaluate business potential, and interpret basic financial data.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to engage with clients, present solutions clearly, and collaborate with internal teams.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance to understand banking products, current account features, and related regulatory norms.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage queries, resolve issues promptly, and deliver a positive onboarding experience.
Candidates should possess Account Management abilities to maintain relationships, monitor account activity, and support retention and growth.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field are preferred.
Prior experience in banking, financial services, or business development, especially in current or business account acquisition, is an advantage.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment, strong local market awareness in Ahmedabad, and proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools will be beneficial.
