Job Title - Culinary Faculty (Part Time)  for Dehradun Campus

Role Description

Our Dehradun Campus is looking for dynamic, experienced, and enthusiastic Part-Time Culinary Faculty specializing in both Continental and Indian cuisines.

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Culinary Faculty based in Dehradun. The Culinary Faculty will be responsible for preparing and delivering a high-quality curriculum in culinary arts, developing practical and theoretical learning modules, and mentoring students during their academic journey. Responsibilities also include organizing workshops, overseeing culinary events, assessing student progress, and ensuring alignment with international standards in hospitality education. Contribution to industry partnerships and curriculum enhancements is also expected.

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on practical training and theoretical lectures in Indian and Continental cuisines.
  • Mentor students on culinary techniques, kitchen safety, hygiene standards (HACCP), and food presentation.
  • Evaluate student performance through practical exams, assignments, and continuous assessments.
  • Share industry insights to prepare students for real-world kitchen environments.

What we are Looking for 

Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in both authentic Indian regional cuisines and classical/modern Continental cuisine.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience in a reputable 4/5-star hotel or a premium restaurant chain.

Education: A degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for mentoring aspiring chefs.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in culinary arts, including food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management
  • Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring students in a professional or academic environment within hospitality or culinary disciplines
  • Ability to organize and manage workshops, events, and other professional development activities
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for effective teaching
  • Proven ability to maintain professional and educational standards aligned with global hospitality industry benchmarks
  • Experience in innovative teaching methods and curriculum development is a plus
  • Professional certification or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Practical industry experience in culinary operations or management is highly desirable
