Primary focus would be to partner with Enterprise Master Data and SAP sources and master data to establish data standards across all domains in Pepsico.
Master Data Management – Development - Informatica MDM
MDG or SAP ECC master data functional experience in Material ,customer and Location & Supplier domains
This would include independently analysing project data needs, Identifying and resolving data storage and integration needs/issues and driving opportunities for data reuse, satisfying project requirements.
Role will advocate Enterprise Data Architecture, MDM, Data Design, Data Modelling and IT standards and Governance, and best practices.
Responsibilities
10-14+ years hands on MDG or SAP ECC master data functional experience in Material and customer and Location domains
Good understanding of MDG, its configuration and business processes including full implementations on Ariba and other SAP interfaces.
Ability to design and implement interfaces between MDG and other downstream systems e.g., vendor master data
Experience in building and bringing master data into downstream and writing clear requirements and Field mapping specifications to down stream business needs
Experience in Master data management in MDM using informatica MDM and Match merge survivorship and Product Information management domains
Managing metadata and data catalog and data quality and work with global stakeholders
Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills to interact with senior managers within the Business Function and translate business requirements into functional designs.
Understand a standard vendor master data business process and be fluent in the `language of the client
Strong domain knowledge, with a broad understanding of the vendor master data function and its operational & strategic challenges
Strong team player, able to work in global, virtual teams in a matrix organization.
Qualifications
With strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities and projects at the same time
Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Business Management, or related field
7 + years experience in Information Technology or Master data Management
3 + years relevant experience in performing data management and data warehousing and master functional requirements and techniques and business metadata document preparation (source target business rules)
Experience in Datawarehouse architecture and Sql Query writing and/or big data /Azure data lake knowledge is added advantage.
Data base /any ETL tool experience and knowledge of big data or Azure data lake is added advantage
knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
