South Coast Radiology is seeking an experienced
CT Regional Lead to support and develop our CT services across the
Southern Gold Coast region, with primary placement at our John Flynn Private hospital site and travel across allocated locations as required.
This is a senior clinical role combining hands-on CT practice, education, and operational leadership, ideal for an experienced CT Radiographer passionate about training, quality improvement, and service excellence.
About The Role
This is a senior CT role for an experienced Radiographer who enjoys influencing practice beyond a single site. You will play a key role in building capability across the southern Gold Coast CT network, supporting people, processes and technology to deliver excellent patient outcomes. The position offers a balance of clinical involvement, education and strategic contribution, with the opportunity to shape how CT services evolve across the region and the wider SCR group while working closely with clinical leaders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regional clinical leadership and support to CT Radiographers across southern Gold Coast sites
- Deliver high-quality on-site and remote training, mentoring and clinical support to CT staff and trainees
- Support standardisation of CT protocols, workflows and best-practice scanning across all sites
- Assist with complex CT examinations, image quality troubleshooting and workflow challenges
- Contribute to CT service improvement initiatives, including workflow optimisation and equipment projects
- Support CT protocol review, development and implementation in collaboration with Radiologists and the CT Modality Lead
- Act as a key regional CT resource, travelling between sites as required
- Work closely with Radiologists, referrers, vendors and internal stakeholders to optimise service delivery and patient care
- Support change initiatives and adoption of new technologies, protocols and ways of working
About You
You are an experienced CT Radiographer who enjoys leading, teaching and improving services. You bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
You Will Have
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging
- AHPRA registration
- QLD and NSW radiation licences
- Minimum 5 years CT clinical experience
- Experience training, mentoring or supporting other CT Radiographers
- Strong troubleshooting skills for image quality and workflow issues
