Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Corporate Social Responsibility Professional: CSR Manager, you will establish and manage a portfolio of strategic partners to drive growth and achieve IBM's social impact goals. You will build strong partnerships by identifying shared objectives and aligning strategies, negotiating partnership agreements, and ensuring both parties are committed to delivering on their respective responsibilities.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Establish and manage a portfolio of strategic partners to drive growth and achieve IBM's social impact goals, identifying shared objectives and aligning strategies to build strong partnerships.
- Manage Program Execution: Oversee end-to-end program execution of education and skilling, employee giving and volunteerism, and sustainability, developing program timelines, identifying and addressing risks, managing budgets, and ensuring program deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Track Progress and Report: Monitor and report on the progress of partner programs to key stakeholders within the organization, setting and achieving targets and monitoring partner performance against key metrics.
- Identify New Business Relationships: Identify new business relationships that help deepen IBM's social impact, staying familiar with the latest trends and best practices in STEM education and workforce development.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with the communications team to ensure effective communication of IBM's key messages and strategies relating to CSR to internal and external audiences, coordinating with other IBM functions including HR, Government Programs, Communications, and Marketing.

- Deep Expertise in Partnership Development: Proven experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships to drive growth and achieve social impact goals, with a strong track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships.
- Experience in Program Management: Demonstrated ability to oversee end-to-end program execution, including developing program timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring program deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Strong Understanding of STEM Education: Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in STEM education and workforce development, including the needs and challenges faced by students, educators, and employers in this field.
- Results-Oriented Approach: Experience in setting and achieving targets, monitoring partner performance against key metrics, and driving measurable outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams, including communications, HR, Government Programs, and Marketing, to ensure effective communication and coordination of CSR initiatives.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Familiarity with CSR Trends: Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in corporate social responsibility, including education and skilling, employee giving and volunteerism, and sustainability.
- Understanding of STEM Challenges: Familiarity with the needs and challenges faced by students, educators, and employers in the STEM education and workforce development field.
- Expertise in Partnership Negotiation: Experience with negotiating partnership agreements and ensuring both parties are committed to delivering on their respective responsibilities. Knowledge of CSR 2% regulation in India is important.
