Job Description

ABOUT AGVS:

AGVS is a school for 340 students from surrounding villages, from foundational years through 10th grade. OurAcharyas and team work towards whole-child development through Panchkosh Vikas. The school's work is made possible by CSR partners and individual supporters who see AGVS as something they help build, and who stay with us year after year.

THE ROLE:

As CSR Lead, you will own the school's CSR partnerships end to end: finding companies whose priorities match ours, building genuine relationships with their CSR teams and foundations, writing proposals that represent the school honestly, and making sure every partner sees clearly what their support made possible. You will work closely with the Director and the Director's Office, and over time shape CSR into a steady, well-run function for the school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnership pipeline:

  • Research and prioritise companies with CSR commitments in education and rural development, starting with Nagpur and Maharashtra and widening from there
  • Maintain a pipeline tracker with the stage, next step, and owner for every prospect
  • Open conversations through warm introductions, events, and direct outreach

Proposals and due diligence:

  • Write and tailor proposals, concept notes, and budgets for programmes and infrastructure needs, working with the Director and accounts team
  • Keep the due-diligence pack current and partner-ready: registration documents, CSR1, 12A/80G, audited financials, and policies
  • Respond to CSR calls for proposals, applications, and partner forms accurately and on time

Partner relationships:

  • Be the main point of contact for CSR partners, from first meeting through renewal
  • Plan and host partner visits to campus so they see the work first-hand
  • Keep partners connected between reports with short updates, photos, and moments from the school

Reporting and compliance:

  • Prepare utilisation certificates, progress reports, and impact reports in the format and timeline each partner requires
  • Work with Acharyas and the school team to gather data and stories from programmes such as LOTUS and Anand Jatra
  • Track grant timelines, deliverables, and fund utilisation so commitments are met in full

Communication and wider fundraising:

  • Create partner-facing content: presentations, case studies, annual report sections, and social media posts that recognise partners
  • Support individual donor outreach and campaigns where they connect with CSR work

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 4–8 years of experience in CSR, fundraising, partnerships, or grant management, with a nonprofit, foundation, or corporate CSR team
  • A track record of securing and renewing CSR funding, and the relationships that come with it
  • Working knowledge of Section 135 of the Companies Act, Schedule VII, and the CSR Rules
  • Excellent written English; Hindi and Marathi are a strong plus
  • Comfort with numbers: budgets, utilisation, and reporting
  • A warm, honest communicator who builds partnerships on transparency rather than polish
  • Organised and self-driven, able to own outcomes in a hybrid setup
  • Willing to travel to campus regularly and to partner meetings in Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, and beyond

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

  • Type: Full time
  • Mode: Hybrid (regular days on campus at Bawangaon, Saoner, plus partner meetings and travel)
  • Working days and hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Salary: As per industry standards

HOW TO APPLY:

Send your CV, a short note about a CSR partnership you built or grew, and one writing sample (a proposal or report) to [Confidential Information] with the subject line Application – CSR Lead
