Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, goal-driven, and strategic CSR & Individual Fundraising Intern to work directly with organizational leadership. In this role, you will take ownership of two core revenue streams: expanding our corporate CSR partnerships under Section 135 compliance, and mobilizing individual donors by building and leading a peer-to-peer volunteer fundraising network.

This internship offers hands-on leadership experience, direct access to executive decision-makers, and a measurable impact on empowering PWDs across India.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate CSR & Strategic Partnerships

• Prospecting & Pipeline: Research and map prospective corporate CSR donors, foundation grants, and corporate leaders interested in disability inclusion, diversity, equity, and skilling programs.
• Proposal & Pitching: Assist in crafting corporate-grade CSR proposals, customized pitch decks, budget models, and corporate employee engagement proposals.
• Compliance & Reporting: Coordinate documentation for 80G, 12A, and CSR-1 compliance, and translate program outcomes into clear corporate impact reports.

2. Individual Donor Campaigns & Volunteer Mobilization

• Peer-to-Peer Fundraising: Mobilize, onboard, and manage a team of student and professional volunteers to drive individual fundraising campaigns (friends, family, and community networks).
• Individual Giving Campaigns: Plan and execute digital/social media fundraising initiatives, micro-donation drives, and awareness campaigns around key dates.
• Donor Engagement & Stewardship: Draft compelling storytelling content, impact updates, and personalized thank-you notes to retain and engage individual donors.
• Volunteer Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for fundraising volunteers—providing campaign kits, tracking individual targets, and driving motivation.

Candidate Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background: Pursuing or recently completed Master of Social Work (MSW), MA in Social Entrepreneurship, MBA (Sustainability/CSR/Marketing), or Development Management.
• Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of corporate CSR regulations (Section 135), individual giving dynamics, and non-profit fundraising mechanics.
• Core Skills:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft persuasive pitch decks, emails, and appeal letters.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to recruit, engage, and manage a volunteer network.
• Research and analytical capabilities to track lead pipelines and campaign metrics.
• Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Mindset: High ownership, measurable outcome orientation, and a strong commitment to inclusion and empowerment for persons with disabilities.
