Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Manager – CRO & Digital Experience to drive conversion growth and

enhance digital customer experiences across eCommerce platforms ( Magento/Adobe Commerce, Shopify

Plus etc.) & devices (Website, PWA & App). This role will focus on leveraging data, design strategy,

experimentation, and marketing technology to optimize customer journeys and deliver measurable

business impact for retail and eCommerce brands. The ideal candidate will bring a strong balance of

analytical thinking, UX understanding, and growth mindset to build and scale high-performing digital

experiences.

Key Responsibilities (15 Core Areas):

1. Enterprise CRO Strategy Leadership

Develop and implement full-funnel CRO strategies across:

● Product pages

● Category pages

● Checkout flows

● Mobile journeys

● Campaign landing pages

● Focus on revenue growth, AOV uplift, and conversion acceleration.

2. UI/UX Department Leadership

Lead the UI/UX team to:

● Design conversion-focused user journeys

● Improve usability, clarity, and trust signals

● Balance aesthetics with performance

● Standardize design systems across clients

● Ensure UX decisions are backed by behavioral data.

3. Customer Journey Architecture

Map and optimize:

● Awareness → Consideration → Purchase → Retention journeys

● Omnichannel experience flows

● Cross-device continuity

● Eliminate friction points in high-value retail journeys.

4. Experimentation & Testing Program Ownership

Build and scale an experimentation framework:

● Hypothesis-driven testing roadmap

● A/B & multivariate testing

● Segmentation-based personalization

● Statistical validity and reporting discipline

5. Retail & Category Intelligence

Deep understanding of:

● Electronics, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, etc.

● Category-specific buyer psychology

● High-ticket vs impulse purchase behavior

● Seasonal and promotional dynamics

● Apply retail context to optimization decisions.

6. Hands-on experience optimizing:

● Magento / Adobe Commerce

● Shopify Plus

● Headless commerce

● PWA storefronts

● Understand platform constraints and performance impact.

7. Web & Product Analytics Leadership

Own analytics ecosystem including:

● GA4

● Adobe Analytics

● Heatmaps & session recording tools

● Funnel analysis

● Cohort & retention tracking

● Translate data into business decisions.

8. Martech Ecosystem Architecture

Oversee integration of:

● CDPs

● Personalization engines

● A/B testing tools

● CRM systems

● Attribution models

● Marketing automation platforms

● Ensure seamless data flow across systems.

9. Personalization & Segmentation Strategy

Develop personalization frameworks:

● Behavioral segmentation

● Audience clustering

● Dynamic content delivery

● Product recommendations

● Focus on increasing LTV and AOV.

10. Performance & UX Technical Alignment

Collaborate with development teams to:

● Improve Core Web Vitals

● Reduce friction in checkout

● Optimize mobile performance

● Implement UX improvements without technical debt

11. Establish scalable:

● Design standards

● Testing frameworks

● CRO playbooks

● Conversion benchmarks

● Create repeatable growth systems.

12. Client Leadership & Strategic Advisory

Engage directly with enterprise clients:

● Present CRO roadmaps

● Justify strategy & experimentation

● Communicate KPIs clearly

● Defend optimization decisions with data

● Act as a trusted growth advisor.

13. Be accountable for:

● Conversion rate improvement

● Revenue per visitor

● AOV increase

● Cart abandonment reduction

● Funnel efficiency

● Tie CRO efforts to bottom-line outcomes.

14. Cross-Functional Alignment

Work closely with:

● SEO

● Performance marketing

● Content teams

● Sales & Account Managers

● Development teams

● Ensure holistic growth execution.

15. Innovation & Future-Readiness

Stay ahead in:

● AI-driven personalization

● Generative AI optimization

● Predictive behavior modeling

● Headless commerce trends

● Emerging UX standards

● Build future-ready retail growth frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● 7-10 years experience in CRO, UX, or digital optimization

● Proven leadership in eCommerce growth environments

● Strong retail and category understanding

● Deep knowledge of buyer psychology & behavioral science

● Experience managing UI/UX & analytics teams

● Strong presentation & enterprise client-facing capabilities

● Expertise in experimentation & statistical analysis

● Martech stack familiarity (CDP, personalization, automation)

● Leadership Traits Expected
