Job Description

Own the conversion engine of a portfolio of high-growth consumer apps — full-stack web, experimentation infrastructure, analytics, and the entire CRO motion — at a profitable consumer app studio scaling fast.

This is not a marketer who occasionally runs an A/B test role. You'll own conversion rate optimization end-to-end across our web properties: the landing pages and funnels themselves, the experimentation infrastructure powering tests, the event taxonomy and analytics layer, the data model behind it, and the engineering work to turn hypotheses into shipped experiments — fast.

You'll be working on consumer products where every percentage point of conversion translates directly to revenue at scale — which means the engineering bar is high and the stakes are real. AI-assisted development is core to how we work, not a buzzword.

About Triplespeed

Triplespeed is the fastest-growing bootstrapped company in India. We incubate viral consumer apps in the USA market and scale them till they become independent companies.

Over the last 12 months, we took 3x apps in independent verticals from $0/month -> $6million/month revenues. There is no other company in India that can give you access to asymmetric returns the way we can.

Key Responsibilities

Experimentation and CRO

  1. Design, ship, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across acquisition, activation, and monetization funnels
  2. Own the experimentation roadmap — prioritize tests by impact, confidence, and time-to-learn
  3. Run statistically rigorous experiments with proper sample sizing, significance thresholds, and guardrail metrics
  4. Translate qualitative signal (session replay, heatmaps, user research, support tickets) into testable hypotheses

PostHog and analytics

  1. Own the PostHog instance end-to-end — event taxonomy, feature flags, experiments, session replay, surveys, dashboards
  2. Build and maintain the event tracking layer across web and backend
  3. Run funnel, retention, and cohort analysis to surface conversion bottlenecks
  4. Wire PostHog into the broader data and growth stack

Full-stack web development

  1. Build and ship landing pages, funnel variants, and full web experiences (React / Next.js, TypeScript)
  2. Own the backend / API layer behind the funnel — server-side experimentation, edge personalization, performance
  3. Own the PostgreSQL schema and transactional SQL — the data layer is yours
  4. Ship fast without breaking core conversion paths

Growth tooling and integrations

  1. Build internal tooling so marketing and growth can run experiments without engineering bottlenecks
  2. Own attribution, pixel, and ad platform integrations with the discipline a revenue-critical system demands
  3. Maintain page speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO health across the funnel

AI-assisted workflow

Work day-to-day with Claude Code, Cursor, and MCP-based agent tooling

Who Can Apply

We care about what you've shipped and the wins you can point to, not how many years it took. That said, this role realistically needs the judgment that comes from running a real experimentation program at scale.

You should have:

  1. A track record of conversion wins you can speak to in concrete numbers — lift, sample size, what you learned, what you killed
  2. The ability to operate as a senior IC — owning scope, making architectural calls, and shipping without hand-holding
  3. Strong written communication for experiment briefs, readouts, post-mortems, and async collaboration
  4. Comfort working in-office in Bangalore on a small, senior team

Required Skills

  1. Senior-level full-stack web development (React / Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js)
  2. Deep PostHog experience — event design, feature flags, experiments, session replay, dashboards, SQL-on-events
  3. Strong statistics fundamentals — sample sizing, significance, common A/B testing pitfalls (peeking, novelty, SRM)
  4. Strong backend skills — PostgreSQL, transactional SQL discipline, API design
  5. Proven CRO track record — landing pages, signup and checkout flows, pricing tests, paywall optimization
  6. Genuine experience with AI-driven dev workflows (Claude Code / Cursor / MCP) — actual agent-tool integration, not surface-level prompt usage
  7. Strong OOP and async patterns

Bonus / Nice-to-Have Experience

  1. Real-money or fintech-adjacent product experience
  2. Other analytics stacks — Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4, Segment, Snowplow
  3. SEO and Core Web Vitals optimization at scale
  4. AppsFlyer / SKAdNetwork / mobile attribution stacks
  5. Server-side and edge experimentation (Vercel Edge, Cloudflare Workers)
  6. AWS (RDS, S3) in your daily toolkit
  7. Experience scaling experimentation programs from low to high test velocity

What We Offer

  1. Full ownership of a meaningful surface area, not a slice of someone else's roadmap
  2. A small, senior team where decisions happen in hours, not sprints
  3. Direct collaboration with founders on what to test and why
  4. Compensation calibrated to senior engineers with a shipped track record
