Job Description :
Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and managing the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers.
These technologies include - but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client partners to define requirements, results, and set and handle expectations.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states.
- Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects!.
- Design and review integration architecture (REST/SOAP, Platform Events, CDC, middleware like MuleSoft).
- Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce governor limits, performance, and scalability standards.
- Provide technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and optimize application performance and system scalability.
- Follow and help define coding standards.
- Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
- Handle the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation!.
- Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role.
- Ability to understand a project and investigate to debug issues.
- From time-to-time, the TA may be encouraged to partake in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical investigation sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
Required Skills
- Total 10-15 years of min work exp which includes min 5 years in Salesforce Projects Implementation, functional knowledge required and good in Client Management.
- At least 2+years of experience in performing solution design review and building scalable, reusable solutions and in reducing existing salesforce platform technical debt.
- Hands on experience with CPQ, Lightning components, LWC, Lightning framework, Lightning Design System, Lightning Data Service, Lightning Locker service, etc.
- Hands on experience on the Force.com platform, Apex classes, visualforce, batch apex, triggers, SOQL.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven).
- Hands-on experience with Platform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC).
- Ability to design and review enterprise-level data models.
- Experience in large data volume handling and performance optimization.
- Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, requirement, design, development, enhancements, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
- 5-7 years of experience in leading & delivering projects.
- Consulting/functional background.
- The ability to understand project scope.
- Requirement and the proposed solution convert the Requirements in to project plan, sprint planning hands on Agile scrum Master process hands on.
- Review Functional and Technical Documents and fine tune before submitting to the clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed on talents/skill gaps to be addressed by consultants the ability to review the quality of deliverables by taking needed support as needed.
- Effective communication skills, track and report (internal, external) on progress; timely surfacing of risks/propose steps to mitigate familiarity with std. project management tools (ms project for planning and Jjra etc.
- KPIs Quality, CSAT, employee experience, project profitability, renewals saas/cx background a must, SF experience is mandatory.
- Developing Junior PMs and Business Analysts in the team.
- Better to have CPQ Certifications, SF Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Certifications.
