Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) projects, fabrication, erection, piping, testing, and commissioning activities. The candidate will be responsible for execution, supervision, and coordination of mechanical project activities while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise mechanical project activities related to Cold Rolling Mill operations.
- Monitor and coordinate fabrication, erection, and installation of mechanical equipment and structures.
- Handle piping installation, alignment, hydro testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure timely completion of projects as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks during fabrication and erection activities.
- Participate in testing, trial runs, commissioning, and performance evaluation of equipment.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution and commissioning stages.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, documentation, and records.
- Support shutdown planning and execution of maintenance-related project activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and industrial project execution.
- Hands-on experience in fabrication, erection, piping, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Experience in Cold Rolling Mill (CRM) projects will be preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of safety practices and quality standards in industrial projects.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
