ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architect and own end-to-end data and BI solutions — from data ingestion and modelling through to dashboard delivery and stakeholder reporting.
- Design and implement scalable Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Operational Data Store architectures aligned to business and compliance requirements.
- Lead ETL design, pipeline development, and data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, integrity, and traceability of enterprise data.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau, CRM Analytics, and AWS QuickSight for operational, analytical, and executive audiences.
- Drive migration projects — including legacy ERP to modern platforms, CRM Analytics to Power BI, and on-premise to cloud data warehouses (Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce Data Cloud).
- Collaborate with business leaders, department heads, and end users to gather requirements, map business logic, and translate them into robust analytical solutions.
- Build and manage metadata/business layers for self-service BI, enabling non-technical stakeholders to explore and visualize data independently.
- Define and implement data quality standards; drive continuous improvement in data flow, accuracy, and process optimisation.
- Lead RFP development, business process mapping, and solutions management for complex data transformation programmes.
- Provide technical mentorship to BI and analytics teams; drive data literacy and BI adoption organisation-wide.
- Deliver real-time KPI dashboards for senior management, branch leaders, and cross-functional teams across multiple reporting cadences (daily, monthly, annual).
- Ensure security, governance, and access control frameworks are implemented across all BI and data platforms.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 13+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, and Analytics — with at least 5 years in a lead or architect capacity.
- Hands-on proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos, and CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM / Einstein Discovery).
- Strong expertise in Data Warehouse design, Data Modelling, ETL pipeline development, and data mart architecture.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Salesforce Data Cloud as modern cloud data platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAQL, and experience building metadata/semantic layers for self-service analytics.
- Proven track record of leading data migration projects (ERP to CRM, legacy to cloud, cross-platform BI tool migrations).
- Experience delivering BI solutions in regulated industries — banking, finance, government, or healthcare.
- Exposure to Salesforce ecosystem (CRM Analytics, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, FinancialForce) is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with AWS QuickSight and cloud analytics platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in RFP development and business process mapping.
- International or multi-region delivery experience (UAE, Oman, Europe, or similar) is highly desirable.
