Job Description :-

  1. upport daily monitoring and operational observability across the MES platform and related cloud components, including MES application health, Kubernetes pods/logs, AWS-hosted services, RabbitMQ, MSK Kafka and ClickHouse.
  2. Perform daily checks to confirm system availability, review alerts/logs/performance indicators, and identify any issues that may impact Production operations.
  3. Triage, log, escalate and coordinate MES-impacting issues identified through monitoring activities, working with the relevant Capgemini, Cochlear, Critical Manufacturing and vendor teams.
  4. Coordinate and execute release/deployment activities across environments, including deployment preparation, execution, environment promotion and post-deployment validation.
  5. Prepare and maintain release/deployment artefacts, including release notes, rollback checklists, CAB implementation artefacts, deployment evidence and post-release validation inputs.
  6. Support change and release governance, including deployment scheduling, change calendar coordination, CAB participation and controlled implementation of approved changes.
  7. Provide clear status updates, handover notes and communication during Production support, deployment windows and incident/deployment-related activities.

Mandatory skills/experience:

  • Experience as a Release / Deployment / Platform Coordinator, AWS Cloud Engineer, Cloud Operations Engineer or similar Production support role.
  • Hands-on experience supporting AWS cloud environments and business-critical applications hosted in cloud platforms.
  • Strong working experience with Kubernetes, including pod monitoring, logs, service health checks, deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Strong monitoring and observability experience, including application logs, alerts, dashboards, performance indicators, availability checks and incident triage.
  • Experience supporting PRO / Production environments, including incident triage, deployment execution, rollback coordination, post-deployment validation and stakeholder communication during Production-impacting issues.
  • Working knowledge of RabbitMQ, Kafka / MSK and ClickHouse from an operational monitoring, triage and escalation perspective.
  • Good understanding of ITIL / ITSM processes, particularly Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management and escalation handling.
  • Experience preparing deployment plans, rollback plans, release notes, CAB artefacts and post-deployment validation evidence.
  • Ability to work in a multi-vendor / SIAM environment, coordinating with client teams, platform owners, product vendors and other service providers.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to provide clear operational updates, issue summaries and handover notes.
  • Availability to support planned deployment activities, including maintenance windows or occasional weekend deployments where agreed in advance.

Preferred / Additional Capability

  • Ideally, the candidate should have experience or certification as a Critical Manufacturing MES Administrator.
  • If the candidate does not already hold the certification, they should be willing and capable of completing the required Critical Manufacturing MES Administrator certification/training.
  • Prior experience administering or supporting Critical Manufacturing MES would be highly desirable, including system health checks, monitoring, troubleshooting, deployments, upgrades and backup-related activities.
  • Good foundational knowledge expected for MES administration, including:
  • Microsoft SQL Server basics: SQL Server instances, databases, linked servers, availability groups and basic SQL queries.
  • Linux operating system basics.
  • Kubernetes / container orchestration basics.
  • Web server applications, web services and API/REST calls.
  • Basic network infrastructure concepts, including ports, URLs, shared drives and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Previous MES experience would be highly desirable, but not mandatory if the candidate has strong cloud, Kubernetes, monitoring and production support experience.
