Senior Backend Developer – Critical Manufacturing (CM MES)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Critical Manufacturing (CM MES) implementations and Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MES rollout, customization, integration, and support within manufacturing environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications for Critical Manufacturing (CM MES) solutions.

• Participate in MES implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.

• Develop and optimize C#.NET-based applications and services.

• Design and implement database objects including stored procedures, views, functions, and queries.

• Perform system integration between MES, ERP, and other manufacturing applications.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective resolutions.

• Develop unit tests and ensure code quality through best practices.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Utilize source control systems and CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

• Support deployment activities using Docker and container orchestration platforms.

Mandatory Skills

Critical Manufacturing (CM MES)

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Critical Manufacturing MES implementations and rollout projects.

• Experience in MES customization, configuration, integration, and support.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.

C# .NET Development

• 6–8+ years of experience in C#.NET development.

• Strong knowledge of:

o Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)

o Classes, Objects, Interfaces

o Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation

o Method Overloading and Overriding

o Delegates, Events, Event Handlers, Callbacks

o Exception Handling (Try/Catch)

o Collections, Dictionaries, Arrays, Generics

o LINQ

o File Handling and I/O Operations

o Entity Framework

o ASP.NET MVC Framework

o Unit Testing Frameworks

Database

• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server.

• Good understanding of Relational Database Concepts.

• Expertise in:

o T-SQL

o Stored Procedures

o Views

o Query Optimization and Performance Tuning

o Database Design and Architecture

DevOps & Tools

• Experience with Git or other source control systems.

• Knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.

• Experience with Docker containers.

• Exposure to Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
