Role: Senior Crisis Communication Officer

Work Type: Full-Time | Dedicated | 24×7 Rotational Shifts

Vacancies: 4 Nos.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Communication / Public Relations / Business Administration or related field

Experience: Min. 2 years (Post-graduate) / 3 years (Graduate) + familiarity with MS Office, CRM tools; ITES / BPM experience preferred; SQL & Data Analytics skills desirable

• Real-time crisis communication handling — inside a 24×7 metro control-room environment

• Instant alerts & messaging via – App notifications, SMS, WhatsApp API, Social Media

• Monitoring commuter messages & routing grievances to relevant CMRL teams

• Maintaining real-time communication logs & incident-based documentation

• Fact-checking every alert with PR officers & Operations team before publishing

• Supporting public-safety updates during emergencies, delays, weather incidents, VIP movement & more

Strong Tamil + English written & verbal communication

Calm under pressure & able to make fast decisions

Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, Word (mandatory)

Experience in dashboards, CRMs, ticketing databases

High-responsibility mindset – understands sensitivity of public-safety communication
