Creo Automation Engineer

Experience: 3-8 Years of Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on Creo-based design automation projects for mechanical products.
• Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo.
• Understand product configurations, design rules, engineering requirements, and customer specifications.
• Create and maintain parametric models, relations, parameters, family tables, and templates for automation.
• Develop and maintain Creo drawing programs and rule-based automation solutions.
• Collaborate with the software development team to implement and integrate Creo automation solutions.
• Handle automation projects from requirement understanding through development, testing, validation, and delivery.
• Validate automated CAD outputs and ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
• Participate in customer requirement discussions and understand their design automation challenges.
• Support presales activities by preparing and delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and POCs.
• Provide technical inputs for proposals, solution approaches, and customer requirements.
• Work closely with the Sales/Business Development team during customer meetings and technical discussions.
• Explain the capabilities and benefits of Creo-based automation solutions to prospective customers.
• Support UAT, customer feedback, troubleshooting, and technical clarifications.
• Travel to customer locations for presales meetings, demos, workshops, and project discussions, when required.

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo / Creo Parametric.
• Good knowledge of 3D modeling, assemblies, drawings, relations, parameters, family tables, and templates.
• Understanding of CAD design automation and rule-based modeling.
• Experience in Creo automation/programming is an added advantage.
• Strong mechanical design and engineering fundamentals.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to conduct technical presentations, demos, and POCs.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and project requirements.
